	EVENT:  Recording the Beatles: Free Presentation posted on: Fri Nov 14, 2008 @ 12:00AM The Student Chapter of the Audio Engineering Society from the New England Institute of Art together with the Boston Professional Chapter of AES is presenting a very special event at the Rabb Lecture Hall in the Main Copley Branch of the Boston Public Library. On Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 6pm authors Brian Kehew and Kevin Ryan will be presenting their very special book: Recording the Beatles. Never before has there been such an absolutely thorough and definitive look at how the Beatles Albums were recorded. Years of research and extensive interviews with the group’s former engineers and technicians shed new light on those classic sessions. With a detailed look at every piece of studio gear used, full explanations of effects and recording processes, and an inside look at how specific songs were recorded. Announcement:  Alcoholic beverages and illegal substances are not permitted in the studios at any time. posted on: Wed Jun 25, 2008 @ 12:00AM NO EXCEPTIONS. This kind of behavior demonstrates complete disregard to the integrity of our studios, staff and fellow students. It is also a college wide policy. Anyone who commits this offense will be immediately suspended for 4 weeks, sent to the Department Chair and Student Affairs. Don't do it!

	Announcement:  Leopard Upgrades Available posted on: Mon Sep 15, 2008 @ 12:00AM Students wishing to upgrade to Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) may do so at the Student Computer Support Center. The college is still in the process of transitioning, but much of the college is already running Leopard at this time. Upgrades are available as a Disk Image and can either be installed at the SCSC or burned to DVD.
